GeckoTerminal Overview
GeckoTerminal is a DeFi and DEX aggregator that allows users to explore market data and prices of any token traded across more than 90 blockchain networks. It is developed by the same team behind CoinGecko.
The GeckoTerminal API (Beta) is designed to make it easier for developers to access DEX/DeFi data via RESTful JSON endpoints. Supporting over 90 blockchain networks and 500+ indexed sources, the API aims to provide token price, market data, and historical charting with a single API call.
Here’s what you can do with the GeckoTerminal API:

Retrieve market data (price, trading volume, historical charts) for any token—just by knowing the token or pool address.

Discover all liquidity pools trading a specific token.

Generate candlestick charts (OHLCV) using a given pool address.

The GeckoTerminal API is currently free to use and in Beta. While updates may occur frequently, we aim to minimize disruptions. Setting the request version is recommended to avoid unexpected issues.
