Nexus Network Introduction
Nexus Network is a decentralized cloud computing network built on a large-scale parallel proof mining system. It is a world-class implementation of Nexus zkVM, designed to run at a speed of one trillion CPU cycles per second. Nexus zkVM (Zero-Knowledge Virtual Machine) is currently in its 1.0 phase, featuring a modular, scalable, open-source, highly parallel, validation-optimized, and contributor-friendly zkVM written in Rust, with a focus on high performance and security.
Nexus has completed two rounds of funding, raising a total of $27.2 million. In June of this year, Nexus completed a $25 million Series A funding round, led by Pantera and LightSpeed, with participation from Dragonfly Capital, Faction Ventures, Blockchain Builders Fund, and others.
Currently, the initial Beta version of Nexus Network has launched, which is a distributed validator network based on Zero-Knowledge Virtual Machine that is accessible to anyone. Nexus aims to unlock a verifiable internet by uniting computers from around the world to form a single supercomputer.
