SafePal Product Line
When SafePal was founded in 2018, its first product was the hardware wallet (cold wallet). Over time, SafePal has launched the app software wallet, browser extension wallet, and new hardware wallet models, including the S1, S1 Pro, and X1, creating a full-stack wallet brand with various wallet forms. The wallet has a track record of zero security incidents since its inception and has been audited by multiple security institutions. Let’s take a closer look at the features of SafePal products:
SafePal App
The SafePal app serves as the core connection for various types of SafePal cryptocurrency wallets. It can connect to SafePal hardware wallets, create multiple software wallet accounts, and scan to connect to SafePal’s browser extension wallet. The app not only includes regular wallet features, such as transfers, receiving, and currency management, but also offers several practical additional features:
-
Cross-chain DApp Support with Custom Networks: SafePal supports over 100 blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Chain, Solana, Ton, and Tron, along with tokens, NFTs, and DApps on these chains. It also supports custom networks, allowing users to add the latest popular EVM networks, making it flexible for airdrop hunters.
-
Swap Cryptocurrency Exchange: SafePal aggregates decentralized and centralized cross-chain trading channels, automatically recommending the most optimal price. The fees are transparent, and compared to most other wallets, SafePal’s fees are lower, with a fraction of the cost of popular wallets like MetaMask.
-
Market Data, News Feed, and AI Voice Broadcast: The “Market” section of the app displays real-time token and NFT prices, including basic information, charts, floor prices, recent trades, and whale movements. The app also includes a dynamic news feed with information from major media and KOLs, as well as AI-driven Chinese language voice broadcasting for on-the-go updates.
-
Exchange Mini-Programs: SafePal aggregates exchange mini-programs, such as Binance and Bitget, allowing users to connect to multiple exchange accounts directly in the wallet. Users can deposit or withdraw directly to and from the wallet, avoiding errors in address copying.
-
DeFi Financial Services: The app displays assets staked in DeFi protocols and offers an aggregator for users, including DeFi staking, Binance Earn, and mining pools, though some newer protocols may not yet be fully supported.
-
NFT Aggregation Trading: SafePal aggregates trading from OpenSea, Blur, Looksrare, and X2Y2, allowing users to list NFTs on multiple platforms simultaneously and trade quickly.
-
Fiat On/Off Ramps: The app supports Moonpay and Simplex for purchasing cryptocurrencies via credit and debit cards (currently unavailable for mainland China users).
-
Bank Account Setup: SafePal offers Swiss bank account setup for European users, allowing them to convert USDC to USD or EUR and vice versa. It also comes with a VISA card for online and offline payments, compatible with Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay.
-
Airdrop Hub (QuestHub): SafePal’s QuestHub offers airdrop activities from ecosystem projects, such as whitelist tasks for early project tokens or lower-entry tasks like Giftbox airdrops.
-
Airdrop Radar: This feature gathers information on ongoing or upcoming airdrop projects, making it a valuable tool for discovering and participating in early-stage airdrops.
How to Download SafePal App
The SafePal app is available for download on the App Store (with a switch to a non-Chinese Apple ID) and Google Play. Android users can also download the APK directly from the official website.
SafePal S1/S1 Pro Hardware Wallets
The SafePal S1 is the classic hardware wallet model, with the S1 Pro being an upgraded version with a metal casing and a larger battery. These wallets pair and sign transactions using offline QR code scanning without requiring USB cables, Bluetooth, or NFC. The security audits were conducted by KeyLabs, a European team famous for auditing Ledger and Trezor in 2019.
SafePal X1 Hardware Wallet
The SafePal X1, released in 2023, is a Bluetooth hardware wallet that simplifies user operations. It comes with a 12-key keyboard, making it portable and beginner-friendly, resembling a USB security device.
SafePal Browser Extension
The browser extension supports both EVM and non-EVM blockchains and allows users to interact with DApps on different chains. It includes features like Swap, and users can link other wallets like Ledger or MetaMask. Notably, it supports scanning from the SafePal app, allowing seamless wallet connection without importing seed phrases, reducing the risk of key exposure.
